Who Are We?

London Baptist AssociationWe are a Capital Baptist Church in membership of the London Baptist Association (LBA) and belonging to the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB).Baptist Union

We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance (EA).

We believe in expressing the visible unity of Christ's church locally and so belong to CHURCHES TOGETHER IN LONG LANE which includes Anglicans, Catholics, Methodists and the Salvation Army. This is a very active group seeking to proclaim Christ in the North Hillingdon area.

Statement of Faith

Our Statement of Faith is as follows.

We believe:

1. The Bible to be the inspired, the infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
3. In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed Blood in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. That for the salvation of the lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
6. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. In the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

We are seeking to make these beliefs known in our Worship on Sundays and through our weekly meetings.
